Korean BBQ Feast @The Pan Dalin BBQ

It’s just hard to believe my buddy Avis has been my hair stylist for a few years now, she was just a junior to do my hair wash in the beginning, now she is a proper stylist now, as a friend and a client I am very happy for her.

We had dinner after I went central for a hair cut, picked a Korean Restaurant in Causeway Bay for some BBQ, a good catch up time rather than to chat in the salon while i am having my hair cut.


To make life simple, we just order a set menu, before the meat are all done, we had salad, fish cakes and bean sprouts!

While most of the Korean bbq place has some slots for making slow cook eggs on their metal grill, this place has some additional slot, two of them filled with egg mix, one with cheese and sweet corn and one with kimchi and chopped garlic pieces. I decide to play around with it so I added some cheese and corn plus kimchi in one of the egg mix and see how does it look like when its cooked, naughty aye?

But trust me, it taste real good with the cheese and kimchi, is a must try!

The premium set that we order consist of Rib eye steak, Bamboo grilled pork belly, Prime Spare rib, Ox Tongue, Shrimp and Sausage.

We were starving so we decide to cook the pork belly, the pork belly was a  inch thick piece, took us a while to cook, the staff there was really helpful and experience so they out to cook your meat to ensure they are nicely done!

The pork belly is kinda fatty as you can imagine, so the best thing to do is to eat with veggies, garlic and bean paste!



The ribeye steak has a strong meaty taste but the seasoning is relatively light, taste better when we dip it in the sesame oil!

The beef spare rib is good, kinda chunky, it is a huge piece so the staff helped out on the cooking part.

The ox tongue are served in thin sliced, the texture may not be as good as the normal thick cut, the portion is kinda generous.


Lastly is the prawn, their size is big the meat was firm so we were more than happy with that.

Overall the quality was good, yet there are room for improvements for the seasoning bit, but we had a good time doing the bbq and the staff was very helpful, most importantly, I got to do a proper catch up with my friend, for me , good food and good companion made me a happy person 🙂
